Description
The peatfire probe thermometer is a metal thermometer with a 1.5-meter-long probe. When extinguishing peat fires, it is inserted into the ground to the depth of water injection to ensure that there are no heated areas below the surface. If the temperature is found to be above 40°C at any depth, it may indicate the presence of smoldering peat and requires additional measures to fully extinguish the fire.
